Today, Saturday, January 8th, 2022 is the National Wildlife Refuge Association’s 47th Birthday! That’s 47 years of protecting, promoting, and enhancing the National Wildlife Refuge System, the world’s largest network of lands and waters set aside for wildlife conservation.
During this 47th year, we hope to present greater opportunities to connect more and more people with their national wildlife refuges and experiences that can only be found there. We hope that you will continue to share your national wildlife refuge memories and experiences with us online and through social media this year! Our vision for the National Wildlife Refuge System is strong and with your help, we can come together to make it a reality!
