A stray dog suffered a tragic accident when he was hit by a car, resulting in severe injuries to his neck and spine. Due to the impact, his limbs became stiff and were unable to support his weight. Following this incident, Animal Aid Unlimited, an organization dedicated to animal rescue, implemented their protocol for treating spinal injuries.

This included administering pain relief, ensuring the dog had sufficient bed rest, providing nutritious food, and engaging in gradual physiotherapy. The initial stages of this therapy focused on gentle caressing and affection to comfort the animal. However, it’s important to note that in cases of spinal injuries, the restoration of mobility cannot always be guaranteed.
