In Las Vegas, a two-year-old poodle mix named Blythe was given a second chance at life by the Animal Angels Rescue Foundation after being discovered alone and in poor condition at Charleston and Rainbow boulevards.
Reegan Tabor, a member of the foundation, noted Blythe as the third similar case in recent months, with his condition upon discovery being particularly distressing: severely dehydrated, teeth ground down from eating stones, rocks, and dirt, leading to exposed nerves and roots.
Initially, his gender was indiscernible until further examination post-rescue. Despite his dire state, marked by sores and severe itching, there’s optimism for Blythe’s recovery.
He’s slated for neutering and an extensive dental procedure to restore his oral health. Tabor is hopeful about Blythe’s future, emphasizing his resilience and adaptability to new surroundings.
