The bears seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves, splashing around and playing in the water, much to the delight of the family watching from a safe distance.

In this clip shared by the family, the mama bear and her five cubs are seen enjoying the refreshing pool and various play accessories scattered around the backyard. Some of the bear cubs wrestle each other in the pool, while others explore the family’s swing and slide set.
Meanwhile, the mama bear lounges nonchalantly in the cool, rejuvenating water, keeping a watchful eye on her playful cubs. The footage captures the delightful scene of this bear family making the most of a hot summer day in the Basso family’s backyard.

We love how each member of the Basso family had their own unique perspective of the bear visit, as captured in the background conversation. Their little child was initially thrilled but later became quite stressed about the bear cubs “stealing” her floaties. Dad seemed equally bummed upon realizing that the bears were likely poking holes in the pool.
However, Mom was certainly having a blast, thoroughly enjoying the rare bear adventure unfolding right in front of her eyes. The varying reactions from each family member add a delightful touch to this unique and memorable encounter with nature.

Despite the overall wholesomeness of the bear family’s fun pool party, there is a moment that causes the Bassos to panic. The mama bear grabs the pool’s plugged-in electric pump and starts fiddling around with it, even bringing it in contact with the water.
