IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Napanee, ON (July 4, 2024) – The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society would like to welcome Becky Harvey as the new manager of the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre.

Harvey recently joined the team at the animal centre in Napanee and brings 23 years of experience in the veterinary field. She has held many different roles over the years, including veterinary assistant, RVT and, most recently, veterinary practice manager. Harvey and her family share their life with three horses, two border collies and one very affectionate gray tabby.

“I have always been passionate about helping animals,” says Harvey, who as a child would bring home sick or injured animals and nurse them back to health. “I am excited to be able to continue to grow my career and continue to support our community and the animals and people within it. I am excited to continue to connect with our community and collaboratively provide care and compassion to animals in need.”

Over the past 10 years, the Lennox & Addington Animal Centre has found loving homes for over 4,400 animals. Harvey’s goal is help 300 animals get adopted this year.
