But Catherine wasn’t going to let that stop them from enjoying their time together. Whenever Hobbs had trouble walking, she would take breaks during their walks or use creative solutions like putting him in a stroller or carrying him in a baby wrap to make sure he still got out and about. “He’s an old, hobbling guy,” Catherine explained. “When it’s too hard for him to walk, I put him in a stroller or carry him so he can still enjoy the outdoors.”
Catherine’s dedication to Hobbs didn’t end there. When she had to step away for short periods, she found a unique way to keep Hobbs company—her cats. Surprisingly, Hobbs got along well with them, and they helped ease his anxiety when Catherine wasn’t around.
