The brown and white puppy, later identified as Baby Gina, was clearly lost and struggling to survive. Once alerted, the rescue team quickly mobilized to bring Baby Gina to safety. A Facebook post detailing her condition at the time described her as severely malnourished, unable to keep food down, and visibly weak. Her ribs were prominent beneath her thin coat, highlighting the extent of her neglect.

With immediate medical intervention necessary, rescuers put together a treatment plan, hoping it would be enough to stabilize her fragile health. “There are so many unknowns,” the organization shared in an emotional update. “We are just praying she can pull through. She is just a baby.”
