Thanks to the quick-thinking and heroic actions of Joey Wagner, a helpless Pit Bull puppy suffering from severe mange in Nova Scotia was given a second chance at life. When Mr. Wagner noticed the pup’s dire condition, he didn’t hesitate—he rushed the sick puppy to a veterinarian for urgent medical care.

Because of his swift response and kindness, the puppy received the treatment he desperately needed, ultimately saving his life. This touching rescue is a powerful reminder of how compassion and quick action can make all the difference for an animal in need.

The medical team was not in favor of giving Mojo away through a regular adoption process. Therefore, they reached out to someone special to ask if he would be willing to take Mojo into his home. It was evident that this person had already shown a willingness to open his heart to Mojo.

Wagner received a heartwarming welcome when he visited the clinic to see his new puppy, Mojo. Mojo recognized Wagner and seemed overjoyed to see him again. Mojo is currently 3 years old, healthy, and happily living with Wagner and his family. According to reports, Mojo is well-cared-for and loved.
