This has been a tremendous help as raising a newborn puppy is incredibly demanding and requires round-the-clock attention.
While experts agree that puppies should remain with their mothers until they are at least eight weeks old for proper development and socialization, Cosmo’s situation is unfortunately not unique. Many puppies are separated too early due to neglect, misinformation, or desperation. “I am so thankful for everyone who has reached out and shown support,” she said. “I wish Cosmo had been able to stay with his mother longer and had been born into a home that was ready to care for him.
