The rescue began during what seemed like a normal winter walk across frozen farmland. Snow was deep, drifting high around the family as they followed Bunsen through the cold landscape. Without warning, Bunsen suddenly took off at full speed, bounding through snow that reached waist height. His family immediately called for him to return, but Bunsen refused, determined to push forward despite the conditions.
