Puppies often adopt a toy that brings them comfort. The toy then grows up with them, forming a lasting relationship that will last a lifetime. In fact, some dog parents are forced to buy duplicates of their toys if they are destroyed, become too dirty, or are lost. An adorable Samoyed puppy named Yuki became attached to a plush stuffed animal. She brought the dog toy everywhere with her, often sleeping with it and giving it tons of her attention. Yuki’s parents noticed her infatuation and did the sweetest thing!

Yuki seemed a tad lonely. Her parents decided to adopt another dog to keep her company. But they didn’t go on a quest to pick out a puppy they wanted. Instead, they wanted to find the dog Yuki wanted. Yuki’s beloved toy bore a strong resemblance to an Australian Shepherd, so the couple made it their mission to surprise Yuki with a new best friend who would bring her comfort just like her toy had for years.

The couple found the perfect pup and brought her home in a gift box (don’t worry, she could breathe!). They called Yuki over and told her she had a special present. Yuki was overjoyed and happily walked over. Her parents opened the box, and Yuki was in disbelief. Her favorite plush toy had come to life! Yuki wagged her tail happily. She officially became a big sister that day to a precious puppy named Maple.
