Squeak’s world has been turned upside down, he once had a loving home, an owner who adored him and his sister.  All that ended.   At 11  years old  Bubble and Squeak found themselves alone, surviving outdoors, scared and confused when their owner passed away.  

Squeak then lost his sister Bubble too.  She had a high-grade heart murmur and fluid on her lungs, we had to make the very difficult decision to let her go peacefully.  This affected him deeply.  He refused to eat; he was constantly calling for her waiting by the door for her to come back – he was so very sad.

We spent lots of time with Squeak as he grieved, letting him know that he was safe, and loved. He still has some medical issues, which may hinder him finding a home, but we will be here for him, he will never be alone again.
