Noah is one of those truly unforgettable bunnies. A gentle, resilient soul who has overcome more than most animals should ever have to face.
He came into our care under heartbreaking circumstances. When the tenants of a property moved out, they left behind two rabbits, scared, and in distress. The home was in terrible condition, with cat urine soaked throughout. The overwhelming ammonia had severely affected both bunnies chests.
Marcus recovered quickly, but Noah’s condition was much more serious. His chest infection became so severe that we truly feared we might lose him. He spent months on intensive treatment including antibiotics, pain relief, several supplements & a daily nebuliser, despite everything, Noah fought hard.
He’ is now a bright, affectionate rabbit, and full of character. But the infection has left scar tissue on his lungs, and leaves him open to repeat chest infections. He also has a very high risk of nor surviving anesthetise which means he can’t be neutered, and without being neutered, he can’t comfortably live with another rabbit. But Noah pours all of that love into people instead. He adores human company and soaks up every bit of affection he can get.
He’s playful, sweet, and incredibly loving. While he can’t have a bunny companion, he makes up for it with the joy he finds in people. After almost 2 years in our care he was ready to go to a special home with his very special person.
