Hardy’s lone follow is Adopta.mx, a Mexican organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned dogs and helping them find homes.
For anyone familiar with Hardy’s life away from the cameras, that choice may be the least surprising celebrity Instagram discovery imaginable. Dogs have been Hardy’s very obvious weakness for years.
He has rescued dogs himself, brought canine companions onto movie sets and red carpets, helped homeless puppies find families, supported major animal welfare organizations, and repeatedly used his celebrity to draw attention to dogs who needed homes. Then, during a 2024 trip to Mexico City, he met Paco, and the rescue dog quickly demonstrated just how vulnerable Hardy remains to a good canine sales pitch.
