Fall in, Bella Army! Ahead of the busy summer tourist season, professional wrestler and San Diego native Brie Garcia (aka Brie Bella) is stepping into the ring for the dolphins and other animals trapped at marine parks. In her bold new campaign for PETA, the WWE star appears somber in a bathtub, urging fans not to buy tickets to places like SeaWorld—where intelligent, emotionally complex animals waste away in concrete tanks.
Garcia Body-Slams SeaWorld’s Cruelty
In exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage from Garcia’s powerful campaign, she opens up about how SeaWorld confines orcas and other dolphins to tiny pools and denies them the freedom, family bonds, and vast ocean homes they would have in nature.
“It’s like a human being living in a bathtub for their whole life,” she says.
Take Action Now!
Sixteen orcas are imprisoned across SeaWorld’s San Diego, Orlando, and San Antonio parks, including Corky—the longest-held captive orca in the world. More than 130 dolphins are crammed into just seven tanks at SeaWorld’s parks.
Join us in calling on SeaWorld to transfer the dolphins at its parks to seaside sanctuaries. These ocean-based environments would allow them to feel natural currents, dive deep, swim far, and experience a life that more closely resembles their true ocean home, free from exploitation.
