Little Cricket was found outdoors alone,  sat with the decomposing body of another kitten. Too young to be without mum, he was extremely weak and very hungry.  

He was taken home by a member of staff,to try and save him.  Despite all the care, love and dedication shown, poor Cricket never really developed.  In 3 weeks he barely grew and was back and forth to our vets.  We tried everything we could to help him pull through but it was too much for him.   Cricket lost his fight and passed away.  

We dread to think what would become of these poor animals without us.  We are the closest thing they have to the protection of a family and a safe place.  We are devasted we couldn’t save him but know in the end he knew love.  He was safe and warm when he gave up and lost the fight.
