Howard was found near the rescue, wet cold and alone. His ears were so matted they needed to be clipped right back to make him more comfortable.
He wasn’t microchipped! However, a super friendly, affectionate, and tennis ball obsessed boy. He must of been a loved pet at some point but found himself alone and out in the world. Sadly no one came forward to reclaim him. Howard had some issues with his back legs, they didn’t seem to cause him any pain, but his days of long-walks and hours chasing balls were somewhat behind him. Over-exercise could be harmful to his joints and spine. Howard found his favourite pastime in cuddling up next to his humans and soaking up the love and cuddles.
Howard is one of the luck ones and after just a short stay with us he found his forever home. Sadly there are so many other dogs like him, who find themselves alone and don’t know why.
